[US](CS) RA position in UTA

Bio
I got my PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My Ph.D. advisor is Professor Kevin Chen-Chuan Chang. I worked on the AIM and MetaQuerier projects, in the Database and Information Systems Laboratory. I received my B.S. and M.E. degrees in Computer Science from Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University, China. I am a member of ACM and SIGMOD.

My interests are in the areas of databases, Web data management, data mining, and information retrieval, with an emphasis on making data retrieval and exploration in emerging applications more effective, efficient, and robust. In particular, ranking and top-k queries, Web search/mining/integration, database exploration, query processing and optimization, social networks and user-generated content, OLAP and data warehousing. Currently we are working on the following projects.
