Graduate study opportunities and postdoctoral positions at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago
Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTI-Chicago) is a brand-new computer science educational and research institute affiliated with the University of Chicago. TTI-Chicago has a team of highly qualified faculty members like Steve Smale (Fields Medal winner), David McAllester (a former MIT professor), and several other young stars.
The major research areas of TTI-Chicago are computational complexity and algorithms, machine learning, and applications (e.g., computational biology, computer vision, speech and linguistics).
TTI-Chicago has been accepting highly-motivated graduate students into its PhD program since 2004. The students at TTI-Chicago can take courses at the University of Chicago and use all the UChicago facilities
