The ACCESS Linnaeus Center at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH),
Stockholm, Sweden, invites applications from outstanding candidates for
postdoctoral research positions. ACCESS is one of Europe's largest
university research centers in networked systems. 35 faculty/senior
researchers and 80 PhD students develop a fundamental understanding and
engineering principles for designing self-managed and scalable networks
and systems in which applications may share real-time information and
cooperate in an efficient and reliable manner.

Candidates should have a PhD (or be near completion) in a relevant field
and a strong research and publication record.

The duration of the position is 12 months and may be extended by an
additional 12 months. The starting date is during fall 2010.

We specifically seek candidates to conduct research in:

a) Protocol and service engineering
b) Peer-to-peer networks and services
c) Performance modeling and evaluation

Candidates should have experience in system-oriented work and should have
a strong background in one or more of the following fields: stochastic
modeling, dynamical systems, distributed algorithms, graph theory, queuing
theory. Our ongoing research in these areas relate to distributed
monitoring, network search, peer-to-peer applications and
auto-configuration in various application domains--wireline networks, LTE,
cloud environments, and mobile services.
